| Last Wednesday, Abigail and I sat together at Bible class. Well, I sat. Abigail, on the other hand, started out sitting quietly on her chair with my hymn book, but not for long. It took me a while to cotton on as to why she was constantly jumping off her chair, carefully opening the hymn book and swaying, then jumping back onto her chair, opening the hymn book for what looked like a few moments of meditation, then jumping off the chair again for a repeat of the same. It wasn't until she jumped off her chair, gently took my hand, bowed her head and closed her eyes for a few moments that I realized what she was doing. She was playing meeting! It was in super hyper toddler mode, but it was all there: the hymns, the readings and the prayers.

| "If God is willing to prevent evil, but is not able to
Then He is not omnipotent.
If He is able, but not willing
Then He is malevolent.
If He is both able and willing
Then whence cometh evil?
If He is neither able nor willing
Then why call Him God?"

| Thanks to all who attended March Youth Study Weekend 2007 here in Vernon, BC, especially to Bro. Ian, whose exhortations on keeping the tongue prodded my conscience. I think I can easily speak for my CYC when I say that we were honored to have each of you with us. It was an encouraging, uplifting weekend, not just for Brother Ian's words, but also for your enthusiasm, your attentiveness, and your kindnesses in the activities that we had so gladly prepared for you.
Brian the Brave, up a tree, getting the last geocashe...
